Like most companies in this industry
business has been very slow. With
the exception of the CD sales from the
group Harpy who hopefully will be
touring this Summer and a possible
Summer tour by Barnaby Bye things around
Dreamscape Records have been pretty
slow.
I am also shocked and amazed that no one
has visited the labels

can buy all the new and old releases by
the major label groups and also almost

Harpy brakes
an all time sales record for pre-sales for a new CD.
Harpy,
who's CD "To the Boundary Mosaic" will be officially released on
Feb. the 14th,(which happens to be the 25th anniversary of
Dreamscape Records). The group has broken an all time
pre-order sales record for the label.
The former
record holder was the Reese Project a Jazz group from
Pennsylvania that has released a number of excellent albums on
the label.
CONGRATULATIONS TO HARPY and Thank you to all of the loyal fans
that have bought advanced copies of this most antisapated CD
release.
Soon after the
CD is released the CD will also be available on Amazon.com, CD
Baby and for download and purchase on I-Tunes and Amazon MP3 as
well.

November 3rd
As we announced on October 24th,
the label was in negotiations with both pop superstars Alessi
and the group Barnaby Bye. We are proud to announce that
we have reached an agreement with both groups and they have
agreed to sign with Dreamscape Records. We will begin
selling the groups CD's on this site as soon as we receive the
stock to sell. In the meantime we will be adding the group
to our roster of artists and posting their profiles and the
website this coming weekend.

Time really seems to fly by as the last
time we updated it was in July and here it is October 24th and only two months
remain before we say goodbye to 2010.
Dreamscape
has some really great news for all of you
loyal HARPY fans that have been visiting the
website for updates on the release date for

Mosaic". The CD will be released at
the end of November, but for all you fans of
the group you can place your order now and

First of all we at
Dreamscape Records hope that you had a
safe and happy 4th of July.
Secondly
for all of you Harpy fans the CD is
still underway and should be released
very soon. The group is very sorry
for the delay and hopes that you
will forgive them. In fact it is
because of the fact the group didn't
want to release the CD until they felt
it was perfect and being the
perfectionists that they are it
has taken much longer than expected.

Dreamscape Records is very proud to
announce a new feature on this website.
Starting this month the label has added
a new feature called Indie Artist
of the Month. Each month we will
feature an indie band , some which you
might have heard of and some you might
not have heard of.
The label
is hoping that this exposure might not
only help to increase the artists CD
sales but also introduce some excellent
bands you might have not heard of.

the French Band DunnDotta.
DunnDotta is a band that blends Music,

Update on
the Kavanaghs: The Kavanaghs are
currently working in the studio on their
next CD which hopefully baring any
problems should be released this
coming July. A U.S tour is also
being planned and if enough dates can be
booked they will be touring the United
States later this year.

This is the first time since I
started Dreamscape Records which is over
20 years ago that a group has been
picked as artist of the month for
three months in a row. Not only
have the Kavanaghs out sold all the
artists in total numbers for their first
release but in addition they are
starting to get airplay in not only the
US and Argentina, but in other countries
as well.

The Kavanaghs tour of the UK was a big
success an the group is looking forward
to returning to the UK for more gigs
sometime next year.
The group was warmly received by the UK
fans many of who returned to see the
band for more than one performance.
The group would like to thank their
British fans and asks that their fans
keep on spreading the work and asking
their radio stations to play the groups
music.
At the present time the group has
returned to their studio in Argentina
and is busy rehearsing new songs and
will start recording their new CD early
next year.

It
is hard to believe that another year has
come and gone and here we are at the
beginning of 2009 with a new President
about to be sworn in, the world in the
worst economic condition it has been in
a very long time and the record industry
like most other industries also in real
trouble.
Last year Dreamscape released a number
of new CDs by new artists and this year
in addition to selling CDs,
T-Shirts and other items on line, we are
starting to sell MP3's of some of our
artists as well. So far we have 5
MP3's available from "Making The Ocean
Awake" by the Russian progressive rock
group Extrovert and 5 MP3's from
"Monster On My Wall" by the East Coast
Group Mikell's Plot.
